Hello,
I tried the modul Trombinoscope Contacts.
I dont konow maybe I do something wrong, but only with one contact it is possible to download the VCard.
Here it works: j4.gfg-fortbildung.de/index.php/kontakt/...etreuer/anja-mueller
and all other it doesnot works, slos a copy of the working contact doesnot correct linked:
j4.gfg-fortbildung.de/index.php/kontakt/...reuer/anja-mueller-2
Anyone have an idea what is wrong with the contacts.....?

Hello,

in the first case, the path to the contact is correctly created for the vcard.
j4.gfg-fortbildung.de/index.php/kontakt/...a-mueller?format=vcf
In the cases that fail, the category is missing from the path.
j4.gfg-fortbildung.de/index.php/kontakt/...mueller-2?format=vcf

Note that the free version of Trombinoscope Contacts does not create contact pages, so the error comes from the core Contact component, packaged with Joomla.

Do you have any tool that 'overrides' paths? (like a SEO tool..)

I am not sure I understand why one contact would be correct and not any of the others... And the paths to the contacts are correct. Something seems to get in the way.

Thank you for your answer. So now I tried it without Trombinoscope Contacts only with the menu link to categories and teh both lists of contacts. It is realy strange, if I change the category from the only contact that works, to the second category, at the link the old category sill shown anyway but it works anymore to download the vcard, if I change the category back than it works again, but only for this one all others not. I dont think that a tool override paths....

Thys for your explanation. This heres not so good.....
I cannot remeber, but I think I have no such tool to override path..
If I change the category of the only contact that display the link to the Vcard correct, the link looks like the same but it doesnot work anymore. If I change it back to the category back it works again.
