Hi,

Because Google is steadily decreasing the number of 'free views' that are permitted using its Google maps, I look forward to an Openstreetmap plugin to replace it.

Is that something that is coming soon to Trombinoscope?

Hello Paul,

the extension does not use the Google Maps API therefore there are no restrictions on the 'free' views.

You can create a custom field of type URL for your contacts and add the url to the map service you want to use. 

In the global configurations of the extension, 'shared options' tab, 'specific functionality' section, select your custom field as the field by default to use with map functionality.
