Hi,
Started testing the new feature in jQuery Easy v1.4.2, i.e. the joker "*" for enabling/disabling the plugin by a path chunk. Actualy I was really looking for this feature.

Joomla 2.5.9 with SEO activated (Apache mod_rewrite)
VirtueMart 2.0 (SEO activated)
jQuery Easy 1.4.2 (jQuery + jQuery UI respectively via Google and local; Add No conflict Code: No*)

Say I want to disable the plugin for all pages starting in mysite.com/directory
Have tried to add "/directory*" then "/directory*" in 'Disable In Pages', but none works. That is whether in Virtuemart related pages or in the Joomla-only pages that start with this path. The plugin acts there like in the other pages.

Now I might use it the wrong way as documentation is still light on it. Note that I'm looking like I do with Apache mod_rewrite "joker".

Please let me know if you can eventualy add some sort of guidance.

OK my bad.

But errr, the Help file is from February and v1.4.2 is from yesterday
Also changelog says that we can add a joker '*' before or after a path for enabling/disabling the plugin on specific pages. It appears that it works before and after as long as you put it before ;)
That being said I just tested and the joker works brilliantly ;)

Hello again,
you did it the right way, I have just noticed that my bug fix was not complete, I apologise.
I am working on a fix (of the fix, arghhh!!) right now. Please send an email to [email protected] and I will send you a version to try out. Please specify which version of Joomla! you are using.
Thank you for your patience.

Olivier.

No, it is my fault, the documentation is just not 'clear' enough. I will update it by the next version.
I am still going to issue an update because it is easier to understand that:
*/product will include all pages ending with /product
/product* will include all pages starting with /product
*/product* will include all pages containing /product
than having
*/product that includes all pages containing /product
(some cases are left out)
My BIG issue with previous users will be problems with backward compatibility.
In the meantime, I removed the changelog so users don't get confused.
